Garry is a Partner in our Commercial practice group.

Garry Same has been in practice for in excess of 35 years, having been admitted to the Bar in 1983 and holds Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Jurisprudence and Bachelor of Laws degrees, all from the University of Western Australia.

Garry’s main areas of practice include estate planning (covering wills including tax effective wills, enduring powers of attorney and enduring powers of guardianship), administration of deceased estates, trade mark applications, patent licensing, copyright, commercial property leasing, sale and purchase agreements for both property and businesses and acting at settlement, formation of family and unit trusts and, in addition he has been an honorary lawyer and also a Board Member for a number of Charities throughout his career.

Garry is a Notary Public for the State of Western Australia, which loosely translated is the equivalent of a form of international Justice of the Peace whereby he witnesses the signing of documents in Western Australia for use in overseas countries.

Garry is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries and is also a member of the Law Society of Western Australia.
