Emma holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia. She was admitted to practice in Western Australia on 2 February 2015 and to the High Court of Australia on 21 July 2017. She began her career working for a boutique wills, estates, property and commercial litigation firm and joined Taylor Smart in October 2018, working primarily in the area of Wills and Estates.

Emma is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia and Women Lawyers of Western Australia.
